Judd Brannon and his team also took a page from Kendrick’s playbook about interrupts, because they use a nonlinear plot structure with intertwined underlines. This is mostly good, but there are a few too many unnecessary tangents that block the focal point of the emulation. The characters there are real and the conditions they meet are also believable.
However, they can get a little deeper with better dialogue and more complexity. It is clear that there is a lot of thought and effort on this plan, and there are certainly big messages that many viewers will enjoy. Nevertheless, this story was left behind based on predictable progress and coincidence.
