Two middle-aged men go aimlessly and childishly through their lives. Burn Huff (Will Ferrell) still lives with his mother Nancy and Dale Doback with his father Robert (Richard Jenkins).
The two losers are now, against their will, forced to get along, as their parents almost spontaneously marry for a congress. At the beginning, the two hate each other, but increasingly find common ground that is childish in nature. In this comedy you see Ferrell and Reilly as two men who never grew up, but still have only mischief in their heads.
Since both were involved in the script, one can already imagine that they have written beautifully the characters on the body.
